Fuel Pressure Regulator

What is your question?

Based on what I read on this site I need to buy a fuel pressure regulator to get rid of the occasional strong fuel smell coming through the vents and detectable outside the car near the hood. Do I need a seal kit with that from Delco or is that for something else? I assume this is a very straightforward diconnect and connect procedure, right?

You need to install new O-ring seals from the dealer, they may not come with the regulator part. It's a fairly straightforward procedure to replace the regulator.

They replaced the fuel pressure regulator. I still had the problem. Took it back and then they found the problem which also caused a check gas cap message and service engine soon light to come on . The problem was deteriorated rubber and plastic lines of the fuel pressure harness, GM Part #2450-6640!
