what does the drivers door module control, does it control mirrors , door locks, etc. nothing works on pass door or rear doors

If you're talking about the window, mirror and doorlock switch cluster on the driver's door, it controls exactly what the switches indicate. If there's a failure, the first thing to check would be the driver's door switch function. You'd need a meter or testlight and some knowledge to test if.
