What is your question?
I have a leak in the back passenger side right behind the exhaust. I seems to be gas leaking out of one of the lines so I know for sure I have a line that’s leaking. Just not sure if it’s a fuel line or fuel return line ECT. It stops leaking when I turned the car on.
What makes this problem better or worse?
When I start my car The line stops leaking.
How long has your 1998 Buick LeSabre had this problem?
Two weeks

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Your vehicle indeed has a "return line". It would seem too me that if the fuel stops leaking once the vehicle is running that your leak is indeed from a return line. If the key was on with the engine off, the fuel pump is primed to provide fuel and under pressure the line would leak if it was a supply ine. Either way, you must repair this before operating the vehicle, is it is a fire hazard.
