keeps shutting off

What is your question?

have replaced fuel pump. car will drive smooth for about 4 or 5 miles and will just shut off. you can wait about ten minutes and it will start again.what could be causing this?

hello, im assuming that the vehicle has a 3.8 l engine , if the fuel pump was replaced as you stated , then it is more than likely a crank sensor .. with the car running , slightly tap on the crank sensor , if the car stumbles or stalls you found the problem .. you also might have an ignition module failing ..

Did you check the fuel filter and also the fuel tank??
