My left brakeline line rusted out and lost my brake fluid,what is the cost

my left brake line rusted out and i lost my brake fluid ath auto shop also noticed the right side is also rusty and could break anytime if i replace both what is the repair cost the shop is talking 300.00 is this fair.Respectfully Bob Rodriguez
