Hello, There are a lot of different causes, and I'm sure you are already thinking of two of them. The ignition system and fuel system are the two most likely suspects, but you may just have a relay that is shutting off when it gets hot. Perhaps the fuel pump relay... When it dies, listen to see if you can hear the fuel pump running. You should be able to hear it around the back seat or from under the fuel tank. If it is not running, go ahead and check the relay. When the vehicle is on, the relay should be energized, so with the key on, pull the relay out, you should hear and feel it click. Aside from that, the ignition coil may be failing, and looking around for a video will help you test it. Let me know how those turn out.
