Have oil in radiator
1 Reply
Hello, Before you run the vehicle, check the transmission fluid for coolant, and check the engine oil as well. There should be be two large hoses and two small lines connected to the radiator. The two small lines are either an oil cooler or transmission cooler (just see where the lines go). The issue is that the radiator is called a 'dual core' radiator, and cools engine coolant and oil or transmission fluid, so when they rupture internally, they mix throughout both systems. Be very careful not to start the engine prior to diagnosis. You will need to flush your engine cooling system a few times, and you will need to flush the engine or transmission a couple times, depending on which one has coolant inside of it. I
