Car power dies after 10-12 miles. 3x. Had the crankshaft sensor replaced, and the harmonic balancer replaced. Still has the same problem. Mechanic says the timing chain is not the problem.

1994 Buick Lesabre. 3.8l, 156,000 miles. Car just stalls (no power or gas) at 10-12 mile range in driving. Towed to shop 3x, mechanics at a loss to figure out the problem. Plugs changed too.

What makes this problem better or worse?

Just shuts down after driving it 10-12 miles
