every time pedal stepped on it does not close but the drive side is working

Could be the brake line itself, or the master cylinder. To the the master cylinder, jack up the car and check the braking on the wheel kiddie corn from the caliper you just had replaced (ex. if it was driver side front, then check passenger side rear). If it doesn't work, replace the master cylinder. If it is not that, it could be a brake line issue. When replacing a caliper, make sure no dirt got into it. It can clog the line, so you can bleed it, but it is not pushing the caliper itself, nor will it allow it to retract back if it is pushed out.
