There are no user serviceable parts. There is a pulse generator on the transmission that sends out an electrical signal, see if when the speedometer fails do you also looses cruise control as the same input is needed for both to function. If you have cruise control but no speedometer it may be a problem with the instrument cluster.

no i only lose my speedometer and my mileage gage my cruise still works it jumps up and down once in awhile but lately its been not workin its bothering me i want it to work but i dont want to lose the mileage that i have on there im tryin to see how many miles i can get on there before my car takes a shit. thanks

The connector to the speedometer needs to be cleaned. After time the printed circuit contacts to the connector will need to be repaired. Common problem , mine has over 300k on it.

Is that the connector on the trans side or inside the dash?
