Won't start ?

Hi - I am Dave, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. When you say that it will not start, do you mean it will not crank over the engine at all? Or it cranks and will not start? This differentiation is what gives me the ability to share next steps. Scanners, by the way, do not do much to diagnose things unless the vehicle is running - so I would expect it to have no relevant information..
