What is your question?
I just got my catalytic converter replace and my rpm still drop to zero when I’m stopped or the vehicle is moving. What does that mean?
What makes this problem better or worse?
It’s worse. The car will stop and won’t start until I turn the key several times to try to start it back up.
How long has your 2008 Buick LaCrosse had this problem?
A few weeks

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. When the engine speed drops to zero, it's showing that the engine has stalled and needs to be restarted. This sounds like your vehicle has an engine performance issue that needs to be inspected. This requires testing of your fuel, ignition spark and intake air flow systems to see what is going on and what needs to be done to get your vehicle running without stalling. Hands on testing is needed - seek guidance at a shop near you. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
