trunk will not fully open when release button is pushed...will here lock release but must open with lifting trunk lid up...thanks ...rick

Possibly the spring tension in the trunk lid is not lifting it out of the latch striker when the release button is pushed. If someone is lifting up on the trunk lid when the button is pushed, does it open?
