loud howling noise in front end

What is your question?

loud howling noise in frontend. noise is constant while driving , increases and decreases with more or less speed.has gotten progressively louder over last 500 to 800 miles. is this a cv axle issue due to normal wear and tear.

What makes this problem better or worse?

it seems to lessen when turning when the outward push seems to quiet it slightlym
