What is your question?
I don't drive my car often. I noticed the Reduced Engine Power message appear 3 days after the Service Variable Effort Steering Message appear on the dashboard. I had it scanned. I was told most likely it was the Ignition coil. The code was P0302 Cylinder 2 had too many misfires. I had it replaced, I no longer saw both messages. A day later the Service Variable Effort Steering message reappeared. Do you know what else could cause that messsge to reappear? I have a slow power steering leak in which, I need to replace the High Pressure Hose. When backing up in a tight spot the steering wheel is kind of hard to turn. The Service Stability System, traction control system, and ABS system was on for months. When I take the car for regular oil changes I was never informed of any issues. I had a full tune up last year and wasn't informed of any known issues. Is this a major and/or costly issue? Is this something that need to be fix ASAP? Due to the pandemic I may not be able to get it fix ASAP?

Where do you take your car for "regular oil changes"? What constitutes a "full tune up"? "Tune Up" is a really general, vague term and does not indicate anything in particular. Always look at the work performed and parts replaced as a way to describe maintenance on your vehicle. Your coil was a stand alone issue, and your steering concern is also a stand alone issue that still requires diagnostic testing and repair. The power steering leak does need to be repaired, but I suspect it is not related to the warning light. Your Service Stability System, Traction Control System and ABS system are all related and also - the Service Variable Effort Steering warning is likely intertwined with those concerns also. The thing is, you need a stronger, better diagnostic tool able to review chassis data, including "C" codes, to find out clues of what is going on here.
