My Buick LaCross has been siting for 1 and 1/2 years. I put a new battery in and tried to start it, The dash lights come on but it won't turn over.

Everything comes on but will not turn over.

What makes this problem better or worse?

hasn't been driven in one and a half years. Put in a new batterie but won't turn over.
