My 2005 Buick LaSabre blower motor slowed down and would sometimes make weird noise, this continued for a couple months. suddenly it stops working and now I have no heat. I suspect that the blower has gone bad, if so how do I replace it?

The blower motor on your 2005 Buick LaCrosse is located under the passenger side of the dashboard. To access it you must remove the lower insulator panel. There are 3 or 4 screws that attach the blower motor, One you remove the screws you should be able to remove the motor and fan assembly. Before replacing the motor look for debris in the fan which can cause noise and vibration concerns.
