Hi, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Great question! On most cars, the answer is no. However, your 2022 Buick Encore is likely equipped with the IntelliBeam feature. This a pretty handy feature that does in fact control your high beams and your low beams. When the system is in Auto and it is night time, the system will turn on your high beams when it is possible - automatically. When they are on, a blue icon will appear on your dash. The system will automatically turn off the high beams when there is oncoming traffic. You can also temporarily override the high beams if you want, by simply pulling the lever toward you. Or to turn the system off completely, just turn the knob off of Auto and into the regular headlights on position. Hope that helps!
