What is your question?
Hi everyone! I am helping a neighbor lady with her 2019 Buick Encore AWD with some minor things and now I need some help. When it rains or when the car goes through a car wash, the interior windows fog up. I checked the more common areas, below the windshield and the sunroof drains and they are both clear and draining properly. Does any one have an idea of where to look for additional areas on the vehicle to look for blockage or a leak? Thank you

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Foggy windows in a 2019 Buick Encore can be as annoying as a rainy day without an umbrella. Since you've already checked the usual suspects like the windshield and sunroof drains, let's dig a little deeper. Moisture can sneak in through door seals, the trunk, or even the HVAC system. Check the door seals for any gaps or damage, and make sure the cabin air filter is dry and clean. Sometimes, a clogged filter can cause excess moisture to circulate inside. Also, inspect the floor mats and carpet for dampness, as water can sometimes pool there unnoticed. If everything checks out and the problem persists, it might be worth having a professional take a closer look to ensure there's no hidden leak.
