What is your question?
I may have over filled reservoir. I idled car to see if over heats. It didn't. I turned car off. It leaked coolant underneath car. But not over heating after son tried to find leak. Can not find leak. I'm not sure what to do next. Was told I have a overflow hose that will take over flow out. I'm not sure.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Only leaks when car is off

Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this concern on your Buick Encore. Based on the information provided with how coolant leaked out, this very well could be a result from overfilling the coolant reservoir or this can indicate that there is an actual leak from one of the cooling system components that may be hard to see visually. The reservoir/cooling system does have a way to allow excess coolant to leak out if the system is over pressurized or overfilled which is usually a hose attached to the reservoir pointed down towards the ground. I recommend having the cooling system pressure tested to see if a leak is found elsewhere to be sure. If a leak is found it will need to be repaired to resolve this concern. The pressure testing can be performed by a reputable repair facility using their coolant pressure tester if needed.
