What is your question?
I've had my Buick I'm the shop twice, once on June 30th for a squealing sound (code p0171) where they found a leaking pcv and replaced the cam cover (covered under warranty) the 2nd time in the shop was July 8th (code p0299) for the turbo to which they replaced the turbo (covered under warranty) but the shop called me and told me that when they removed the faulty turbo they found that my ac compressor was leaking refrigerant at the seal and would cost $1100 to replace the ac compressor because that isn't covered under warranty. I asked if the leak was there on June 30th when my car was in and they said "no, it looks to be fresh" I declined having the compressor replaced at that time. My question is this...could they have damaged the seal on the compressor while taking out the faulty turbo? I just don't believe the leak happened between June 30th (1st time in shop) and July 8th (2nd time in shop). The ac runs every day. Thanks in advance!

I don't see or feel like there is any correlation of the turbocharger to the air conditioning compressor. However, a second opinion can be helpful with hands on testing.
