Idiot light says that my battery is locked. How do I unlock it, so it will charge up.. I went in the suv with out turning the alarm off. Stereo is not locked. Car only takes a second to jumpstart. It keeps saying BATTERY LOCKED..

Hello, I am not familiar with the message "Battery locked", but if the vehicle starts with a jumpstart, I would venture to thing the battery needs to be tested. This can be done for free at many auto parts stores in just a few minutes. Once the vehicle is started or the alarm is turned off, the entire anti-theft system should be disarmed, so this issue should not be occurring. What was the issue resulting in entering the vehicle without disarming?
