What is your question?
has happened periodically. Won't crank on first try. will usually crank on 2nd try. Once it cranks, starts immediately. problem Started 2 yrs ago , but now recently, frequency has increased. Yesterday, it completely failed to crank, stranding me, but started w/ a jump done directly under the hood. Battery located under floor behind front seat. My mechanic did a load test on battery and it checks fine. battery is high quality Interstate, 2.5 yrs old ( problem started 6 mo after installing new battery) Vehicle has been to two different Buick dealers. neither could make problem happen and no computer codes found. Now, I'm stuck w/ a vehicle I'm afraid to drive. Could be stranded at any time. Advice ?

The hardest part is that often times, the only way you an diagnose some concerns is by catching them in the act. Thus, no dealership or repair facility will be able to see what is going on when everything is working fine. My guess is you could have an intermittent starter motor concern, but it's a total guess, and really efforts should be made to try and have the vehicle tested over an extended period of time so they can catch the problem in the act.
