The car doesnt do this all the time. It wont shift between gears 3-5

Hello, The shift solenoids on automatic transmissions are located inside the valve body, which is accessed by removing the transmission oil pan and filter. There is a common issue with the transmission on your vehicle where a plate (3rd, 5th, reverse) overheats and causes this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qn24fWhwcF8 Very common, but i don't believe it has been recalled. Contact your nearest Buick dealer with your VIN and mileage to make sure before you pay out of pocket.
