What is your question?
Car had been idling high and was hard to stop. Car goes right to 60 and is very hard to brake. Was towed and was told by the driver that the throttle cable was sticking. Was told by a garage that car needed a new throttle cable, however, they no longer make throttle cables for 2002 Buick Century Customs. Not safe for my 80 year old mom to drive. Garage tried to put a spring or something on it but advised not sure how long it would last. Did not last long at all. The car was not driven very much and was told that was why the throttle cable is now no good. Any suggestions? Car is in beautiful shape and I just want it to be safe from my mom.
