What is your question?
I was driving on the road when my car completely stalled out. i thought it was just a dead battery so i had bought a new one but nothing turns on anywhere in the car. the engine doesn't even click or hum when the key is turned. could it be the alternator?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You could have an issue with the cables for the battery not being secure or being severely corroded at either end. If you have no lights or anything inside the vehicle, ensure the battery you have acquired is working properly, and then also check for any issues with main fuses / relays. A maxi-fuse could have blown causing the vehicle to have no electrical power at this point. You may need to tow the vehicle to a technician who can do a good diagnostic test and find your issue rather quickly with hands on inspections.
I checked the battery, battery cables, and all fuses in the engine fuse box and all are still good. Would a bad alternator or spark plugs keep the engine from starting?
If your battery is good and the engine will not even crank, then it's not an alternator or spark plug issue, as those items do not control or impede engine cranking. Something in the starting system including power supply issues is likely occurring.
