replaced egr valve and cleaned egr passage but codes still set after a couple miles

Check and replace your IAC Idle Air Control Valve sometimes you will get a code for the EGR and it is the IAC
There is a reprogramming update that you might want to get done before you pull your hair out. Something about the pintle position and computer expected position. If you want to come to MA - we will take care of you :) Good Luck
