my gas guage is doing the same, it shows full but its really not, is this fixable?

Try running a bottle of Chevron Techron Concentrate Plus through your tank. It has to be the Plus--this product is specifically made to address these gas gauge problems. Keep your fingers crossed that this 8 dollar fix works!
