Cold air blows out the passangers side and hot air blows out the drivers side. Can anyone help me with this?

I just had a similar problem and had trouble getting it diagnosed. In my case, the air on the passenger side was definitely cooler than the hot air on the driver's side, but it wasn't cool enough. I had the refrigerant replaced today ($164) and now both sides are very cold. My car is 10 years old, and I guess it just needed to be recharged. Not every shop can do this, I had to go to a shop with special equipment for A/C repair.
