Sputter and knocks while setting still idle

Hello, This sounds like the idle air control valve is not allowing sufficient air into the engine, or there is a large vacuum leak/EVAP leak. Diagnostic scanning with OEM BMW and eOBD-II access is needed. I would recommend using an independent shop to avoid the dealer fees on this one since it is out of warranty.
