air conditioner vents

What is your question?

ac unit blows cold but discharges air from window vent, defrost vent or floor vent not from ac registers. No matter of the setting position of directional control, it always discharges from the defrost register. anyone know what the problem is?

Depending if you have electronic or manual a/c control panel. If it is manual, check to see if resistance is felt, if not the panel is to be removed and cable checked. If it is electric, wiring from the panel to the servo motors are to be checked, operated and the faulty motor isolated
