The OBD meter connection only has 4 pins. Where does BMW dealerships connect to diagnose?

What is your question?

The OBD connection on the right of the shifter only has 4 pins. Positive, two grounds and engine. The DCS, ABS and Air bag info is not available.....Is there another OBD port or does the ECU need removed or something?? Thanks.

There is an OBDII port under the dash that will connect with diagnostic test equipment. The connecter you speak of is not the one you are seeking. Looks like the OBDII connector is on the passenger side of then center console area, under the dash.
