Looking to purchase a used 2025 BMW from a reputable BMW dealer. Car only has 11k miles, but looking at the carfax, it has been in BMW service 4 times in 1 year by a single owner for the following reasons: 08/23/24 - Maintenance inspection completed Wheels checked 09/27/2024 - Tire(s) mounted Wheels checked 04/28/2025 - One tire replaced Wheels checked Wheel(s) repaired 07/08/2025: Tire(s) balanced Tire(s) replaced 04/01/2026 (after dealer took it in, a week before putting it for sale): Maintenance inspection completed Alignment checked Alignment performed Brakes checked Drivability/performance checked Four wheel alignment performed Lower control arm(s) replaced Wheels checked There are red flags in my opinion on the tire/wheel/control arm lingering issue. Unless I'm over-reacting, would this type of service record be a concern or is this normal and the dealer was just getting to the bottom of the problem before fixing it. Carfax is clean.
How long has your 2025 BMW X5 had this problem?

Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. Thank you for reaching out to us with the concerns you have with the 2025 BMW X5 you are looking at purchasing. Based on the information provided since the Carfax is clean and with the history that this vehicle has had for repairs and servicing it is likely that the previous owner may have been bumping up against curbs or maybe had a driveway with sharp rocks in it or something similar that may have created concerns and possibly damage over its short life which can lead to the multiple tire inspections, repairs, and replacements as well as the control arm replacements and alignment that was performed. It does look like the dealer did some work to it before listing it for sale which is always a good sign. In my opinion it is likely o.k. from here but I do recommend having another repair facility check it over, a full vehicle inspection, to see if they find any concerns with it. I always recommend having a vehicle inspection performed before making such a large purchase to make sure everything is o.k.
