Now going on 4 weeks with this ASE certified specialist and he still hasnt diagnosed and fixed the misfire in my 48i. Granted he has spent time to systematically eliminate what the cause may be but if he cant fix it what should I be expected to pay?

I had a misfire issue on my 2009 x5 48i and the fix was replacing all the spark plugs. Not cheap but solved the issue. Have you done this?
