Seller asking $7500. KBB $5,300. What is reasonable? What maintenance expected?

Hello, really hard to assess this. Pricing of vehicles is often "what the market will bear". As far as "future costs" - you have a specialized German SUV that is 13 years old. I would not expect to have a low cost of ownership.
