Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. Even after replacing the oxygen sensors in your X5, the check engine light coming back could mean the issue lies elsewhere in the system. Check for exhaust leaks near the sensors, which can throw off the readings. Also, the catalytic converter might be underperforming, or there could be a wiring or connection issue with the sensors. A faulty mass airflow sensor or intake air leak can also cause incorrect oxygen sensor readings. Running another scan for updated codes will help pinpoint the next step.
