Coolant leak-even when car is not running. Have replaced the coolant reservoir, the mounting plate for the reservoir and radiator, the heater control valve and the oil cooler have been replaced. It’s still just dousing the coolant out. Not a drop leak more consistent stream. I’m at a loss for what to do.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Leaks regardless of engine on or off

Hi, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Sorry to hear you are having issues with your cooling system. On your 2006 BMW X3 there are several places that coolant could be leaking from. If you are not able to see where it is is coming from just from a visual inspection, you will want to have a cooling system pressure test performed. This is a tool that most shops will have that puts a constant pressure on the cooling system to be able to locate where it is leaking from. If it’s as bad as you are describing, it should be pretty easy to locate. Coming leaks on that engine are the water pump, the radiator hoses them selves, or the thermostat housing. I’d also double check that when you did the coolant reservoir that the sensor is full seated in the bottom and its not leaking from there. Another common issue is if the radiator is aftermarket, it is possible that the correct plug was not installed at the bottom, or that it was not installed at all. I’d recommend having a quality shop with BMW experience take a look at it before throwing any more parts at it, it will likely save you money in the long run.
