I'm making a couple of assumptions here. I'm guessing you are talking about an Automatic. Not a manual. The vehicle in witch we are discussing is a bit of different breed. The transmission fluid level isn't user serviceable. It can only be checked one of 2 ways with a factory BMW diagnostic device or by a transmission expert. Here is the bottom line. The vehicle must be at a specific temperature raised over head and must be level. Only then can the fluid level be checked using special tools. Hope this helps.
