Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your vehicle. If your X3 leaks coolant from the drain plug, it's often due to a worn or damaged o-ring around the plug, which helps seal it. Over time, this ring can become brittle or cracked, allowing coolant to escape. I recommend replacing the whole plug as it is made of plastic and can also wear out. A replacement drain plug will come with new o-rings installed. If the issue continues, the threads on the radiator could be worn, and a mechanic may need to inspect it to prevent further coolant loss.
