How to disengage the paddle on steering wheel

Accidentally hitting the paddle shifters on your 2014 BMW 750Li can put the transmission into manual mode, which might explain the different gear sounds you're hearing. To disengage the paddles and go back to automatic mode, just hold down the right (+) paddle for a few seconds, or you can simply switch the gear shifter back to "D" for Drive.
