The blower may stop working due to a climate control system issue inside the vehicle. This will require testing. What makes you think the "compressor stopped working"? If it is cycling, it is working.

If the compressor stops when the blower stops, there is some kind of global climate control system issue originating from the control itself or information received by the controls that influences its operation.
