battery is draining and control display does not turn off for a period of time.

The battery keeps draining and I have to jump the car. I have recently replaced the battery but the electrical drain persists. Also, when I turn the car off the control display stays on for about 10 minutes after turning the car off. The radio cuts in and out.
What makes this problem better or worse?
cold temperatures seem to drain the battery faster
How long has your 2003 BMW 745Li had this problem?
The problem has existed for a couple of months and I recently replaced the battery but the problem persists.

Sounds like you have a parasitic draw. This will require specific electrical testing to find out exactly what module or component is staying on. I recommend taking it in soon so you don't keep killing the battery. https://repairpal.com/repair-shops Alex
