Transmission Issue

Should be on the left side of the transmission, about an 8mm allen key from memory. Fluid best checked when cold, after running through gears and be sitting idling in neutral. They require a special BMW lifetime oil, not just any old ATF. "516" oil, very expensive oil at that. Best to get the faults checked by a BMW dealer or at least your local mechanic found in the "find a shop" tab at the top of the page. Good luck
