Cup holder

What is your question?

OK, this is small but it is bugging me. I opened the cup holder and though it slides back in, it won't lock back in; it slides back open. Can I fix this myself and if not, is it a big deal or small deal to have it done?

it is all about price, i think that piece goes for around 100-150 dollars.for some reason interior pieces are expensive on bmw's.it wouldn't take long at a shop to do. but if you got on e38.org they will show you how to change it.hope this helps.
