There is a sensor/micro switch in the driver side C pillar, which is the vertical section behind the rear side window. It senses when top is fully up, and often time the switch loosens and doesn't register the top as fully locked. Sometime you can reach your hand behind the cloth and fumble around until you find it, or bring it to a dealer. This is a common problem, and they can fix it within minutes.
