What is your question?
started about 3 years ago. Dealer could not find a cause so they upgraded software. That seemed to fix the issue for a year or so. Lately it's happening again more frequently. This morning it started to come on when I got in the car but, after starting the car, it was out. It will go out sometimes while I'm driving and sometimes will come back on. A couple of times I saw it flicker- almost like there was an electrical short. That time it came back on. No alerts/alarms. I can still see the MPH reflected on the windshield so I know my speed. Signals, headlights still work but nothing on instrument cluster. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This kind of thing, unfortunately, leads to one of two solutions. One, a software update. That seemed to work a little bit last time, but may not be improved with any future updates. Secondly, replacement of the assembly. There is no repair that can be done incrementally with the cluster. If there is an internal malfunction, it would appear to me that replacing the assembly is the only result that would be beneficial. In any case I would recommend local repair shop near you that has the diagnostic tools and know how to figure it out. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me
