This sounds like you need a transmission, bummer. Better get it looked at to verify what is wrong, I suggest an ATRA affiliated shop near you: http://bit.ly/ATRA_Info

I concure. You need a tranny and I would check for an ATRA certified shop. There are some good ones in Thousand Oaks and ATRA headquarters in just up the road in Camarillo.

im mean come on seriously? the trans has put itself into failsafe mode! i suggest you scan the diagnostic for any troublecodes stored
