What is your question?
At startup, it idles a little rough for about 5 seconds and then is fine. Now, if I accelerate fast (not like a race car driver, but faster than usual), it accelerates with a split second hesitation and immediately begins to vibrate so rough that it feels as if the engine will die and it feels this way in any gear (and the check engine light comes on). If I turn off the engine for a few seconds and restart, it restarts normally as described above and drives perfectly until I accelerate quickly again at which time the vibration starts all over again. I took it to a mechanic 4 days in a row with this issue and get hooked it up to the computer which gives a different code as the issue each day. PLEASE HELP!!!
The first code was a sensor that seemed to be acting as if the car was in frigid temps rather than 100 degree heat in South TX, the next time the code stated misfires and needs a full tune-up, the third time, it had a list of 8 codes (including the first two) but after they reset and tried again, it showed no codes although the problem still existed.
Lol well that's not a lot more info. I would suggest you get that to a technician familiar with euro vehicles and their diagnostic procedures. You could easily have a simple sensor malfunction causing your issue. However maintenance is extremely important to any vehicle, stay current or you'll run into even worse problems. I personally do all maintenance items early and have yet to regret it, and I think the euro maintenance scheduled intervals are too long. Personal opinion, and we all have one. Anyway, get your vehicle to someone that knows Beemer, it'll be less guess that way, and less $$ when it's all said and done.
Will do and thank you very much!
