What is your question?
car was starting just fine on Friday afternoon.. then, after starting it and moving around in a parking lot, it wouldn't even try to crank. The battery is 3 to 3 and 1/2 years old.. Charged it, still no start, after replacing batteries in both key fobs.. Replaced battery, still won't start.. Was told by a mechanic friend that fobs need to be reset with the car's computer..
What makes this problem better or worse?
Hot outside

Hello, certainly, it could have something to do with the battery or key fobs being properly programmed to work with the vehicle. BMW vehicles require programming when doing many operations. All that said, it's the first step to take; there could be something else going on that requires further troubleshooting.
