If you can get the car on a lift or get under the car somehow, the battery can be back fed from the starter circuit, it's not easy, but doable. Better if a mechanic do it. Zee

you have to turn the key more to the left.. their is a manual switch that engages.... problem solved if your battery is dead

Even with a dead battery you should be able to use your actual key to insert and unlock the door or trunk to get to the battery.
